At VENTURE WORKS we’re committed to unlocking the genius in everyone–not just our customers.  As a result we invest a significant share of our time (and resources) in innovative nonprofit organizations that are working to improve the achievement and opportunity for at-risk children, families and communities as well as people with developmental disabilities.

If you are a small nonprofit with a proven track record working in one these areas, or a company supporting a dynamic and successful nonprofit, and believe that we can be helpful simply send us a note with your ideas and we promise to follow up.

In the meantime, here are three organizations we work closely with that we think you should know about:

Passion for Learning is an award-winning nonprofit that builds partnerships between the business community and schools in order to make learning come alive for every child.  It’s creative programs are targeted to middle schools characterized by high rates of poverty, mobility and English as a second language.  Its core elements are designed to close the achievement gap for at-risk students through an innovative curriculum focused on communication skills and digital literacy.  It also works to assist parents in helping their children to succeed and become passionate lifelong learners.
